Gabriel Silveira’s experience spans domestic and international matters, giving him a broad perspective on the legal and business considerations clients face. With a background in transactional and litigation matters, he approaches legal issues with an understanding of how different considerations can intersect.
Gabriel began his career at DeWitt as a law clerk, gaining experience in real estate, business, contract, tort, family, and tax law. His work has spanned both litigation and transactional matters, ranging from preparing pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs to drafting settlement agreements, purchase agreements, promissory notes, and corporate documents.
Gabriel also brings experience with international business transactions and immigration matters. Before joining DeWitt, he worked as an international documentation specialist, drafting contracts for foreign companies and reviewing import and export documentation. His immigration experience includes family-based immigration, visas, and citizenship matters. He also volunteered with the International Institute of Minnesota, preparing citizenship applications for individuals in the Twin Cities.
Gabriel earned his J.D. from the University of St. Thomas School of Law with a concentration in Law, AI & Evolving Technology. He earned his undergraduate degree summa cum laude from St. Cloud State University, where he double majored in Political Science and International Relations.
Gabriel is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.
