Seungwon R. Chung is a trusted advisor to high-net-worth individuals facing complex, high-stakes family law litigation and appeals. He represents business owners, executives, medical professionals, professional athletes, and international private wealth clients in divorce, custody, and appeals. While he represents clients in all types of high-stakes litigation, he specializes in business valuation, non-marital tracing and asset defense, business fraud, and jurisdictional litigation.
Seungwon leverages his experience as a law clerk for a family court judge and litigator at an AmLaw 100 firm, where he handled sensitive, high-value family disputes. He brings a rare combination of courtroom tenacity and appellate precision to every stage of litigation, minimizing risk and preserving favorable outcomes.
As an appellate advocate, he’s shaped legal precedent as appellate counsel on over 20 appeals, including precedent-setting cases before the Minnesota Supreme Court and Minnesota Court of Appeals. He currently serves as Chair of the Amicus Curiae Committee for the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Family Law Section.
