DeWitt LLP today announced attorneys Lindsey Anderson, Zachary Armstrong, Michael Kruse, and Mitchell Sullivan were promoted to Partner status effective January 1, 2024.
Anderson is a member of the Divorce and Family Law team, practicing from the Brookfield office. She helps individuals in all walks of life, whether retired and involved in a long-term marriage, or a young couple seeking a divorce, to navigate family law issues including separation, divorce, custody and placement, child support and maintenance. Clients with few assets as well as high-net-worth individuals navigating asset division and support issues have turned to Lindsey for guidance. She also handles mediations for represented and pro se parties and assists clients with adult and minor guardianships and adoption. Her tenacity, intuition and professionalism have been strengths her clients rely upon.
She earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from Marquette University Law School, a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin – Milwaukee and holds a Certificate in Litigation. She is admitted to practice in Wisconsin, and in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern & Western Districts of Wisconsin.
Armstrong is a member of DeWitt’s Litigation, Intellectual Property Litigation, and Transportation & Logistics practice groups and is based in the Minneapolis office. His practice focuses on general civil litigation with experience with patent litigation, trade secret litigation, false advertising, commercial litigation, real estate litigation, transportation & logistics litigation, and personal injury matters. He also has experience in business and commercial transactions.
He earned a J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of St. Thomas School of Law and a B.A. from Carleton College. He is admitted to practice in Minnesota, the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Kruse is a member of DeWitt’s Litigation practice group and is located in the Brookfield office. He is an experienced litigation attorney skilled in a broad range of different matters with significant first and second chair trial experience. Much of his experience has come in complex and lengthy matters that often involve substantial amounts of money. He utilizes his research, writing, and advocacy skills to provide tremendous value to the clients he represents.
He earned a J.D., cum laude, from Saint Louis University School of Law and a B.A., cum laude, from Augustana College. Kruse is admitted to practice in Missouri, Wisconsin, and the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Wisconsin.
Sullivan is an attorney in the Minneapolis office supporting the Real Estate and Business practice groups. His experience includes representing clients in matters related to mergers & acquisitions, real estate, corporate law, and general commercial issues. In the area of real estate, he has represented developers, investors, lenders, brokers, contractors, landlords, common interest communities, property managers, manufacturers, as well as his general business clients. His clients include businesses from industries such as construction, manufacturing, transportation, technology, hospitality, medical, and professional services.
He earned a J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and a B.A. from Concordia College. Sullivan is admitted to practice in Minnesota and the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota.
