Scott Lucas focuses his practice on real estate law, encompassing both transactional matters and litigation. He represents clients in real property sales and leases, Torrens proceedings, land use disputes, eminent domain proceedings, and title litigation. Scott also handles breach-of-contract actions, and advises clients on the formation and governance of business entities.
Scott regularly assists corporations, limited liability companies, property owners, developers, and businesses in navigating complex real estate and land use issues. He is certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Real Property Specialist and is known for his practical, solutions-oriented approach to resolving property disputes and structuring transactions efficiently.
In addition to his client work, Scott is an active leader in Minnesota’s real estate bar. He serves on multiple Minnesota State Bar Association real property committees and is a frequent speaker and author on real property law topics, including commercial transactions, boundary disputes, and access issues.
