Elizabeth M. Coenen represents clients in litigation matters with a focus on business law and civil disputes. She is passionate about helping businesses and individuals navigate complex legal issues, providing practical guidance and clear communication throughout the legal process. Elizabeth is committed to helping clients understand their options and achieve outcomes that support their long-term goals. 

Elizabeth supports litigation matters through legal research, drafting pleadings and agreements, and preparing cases for hearings, mediation, and trial. Her background in e-discovery further strengthens her ability to manage complex case materials and ensure accuracy and efficiency in document review and analysis.

Before joining DeWitt, Elizabeth practiced as a family law attorney in Green Bay, where she gained significant courtroom experience advocating for clients during challenging times. She also previously worked as a paralegal in insurance defense, giving her a strong foundation in litigation procedures and case management. During law school, Elizabeth externed at the City of Charleston Prosecutor’s Office and a private law firm, gaining experience in courtroom proceedings and complex litigation, including class-action work.
