Daniel Brink advises private equity sponsors, venture capital funds, emerging growth companies, and strategic buyers on complex domestic and cross-border transactions. Clients rely on Daniel for sophisticated mergers and acquisitions counsel, venture financing, and business strategy guidance to support growth, investment, and international expansion.
Daniel’s practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, emerging growth and venture financings, and general corporate counseling. His experience spans the full transaction lifecycle — from pre-deal planning and structuring to drafting and negotiating definitive agreements, managing due diligence, assessing legal risk, and closing complex, multi-party transactions. He regularly advises on cross-border deals and international joint ventures, helping clients navigate regulatory, operational, and cultural considerations in global markets.
Daniel also works closely with startups and growth-stage companies in seed and venture-backed financing rounds. He negotiates and drafts financing documentation, advises on corporate structuring and governance, and supports founders and management teams in building scalable legal frameworks. In addition, he counsels venture capital and investment funds on investments in emerging companies, conducting due diligence and structuring transactions to align with strategic objectives.
Earlier in his career, Daniel practiced with a global law firm in its European practice headquartered in London. This experience provides him with valuable insight into how foreign businesses and advisors view U.S. legal systems and commercial practices. Drawing on that perspective, Daniel helps domestic and international clients execute global investment and expansion strategies with clarity and efficiency.
Daniel emphasizes a collaborative, team-based approach, working closely with colleagues across labor and employment, banking and finance, intellectual property, and tax to deliver coordinated, business-focused solutions.
