Tyrice is an attorney in DeWitt’s Business, Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs), and Real Estate, Land Use & Construction practice groups in the Greater Milwaukee office. His practice focuses on assisting businesses with corporate governance and contract matters, supporting ESOP transactions and related corporate restructuring, and advising clients on real estate acquisitions, commercial leasing, and land-use and zoning issues.
Tyrice initially joined DeWitt as a law clerk, where he conducted legal research, drafted memoranda, and participated in hearings, client meetings, and associate development programs. While attending law school, Tyrice competed in the Thurgood Marshall Memorial Moot Court Competition, served as a Graduate Assistant in Appellate Writing and Advocacy, and volunteered extensively through the Marquette Volunteer Legal Clinics and graduated as a Member of the Pro Bono Society.
Prior to law school, Tyrice interned with Legal Services of Eastern Michigan and the City of Flint Attorney’s Office. In these roles, he researched Michigan’s driver’s license restoration policies, created a guide to assist residents in regaining driving privileges, completed client intake assessments, and supported attorneys during court proceedings.
When not assisting clients, Tyrice enjoys traveling, exercising, exploring history, and watching sports.
