Suzanne E. Arbet

Suzanne Arbet serves as the Director of Information Technology. Her specialties include security, server management, IT project planning, hardware/software research and development and system purchasing, setup and maintenance.

In 2007, she was the award winner in the IT Specialist category for the statewide award, “Unsung Heroes,” established by the Wisconsin Law Journal .

Suzanne joined DeWitt in 1998 as a member of the information technology staff. She got her start working in computers during summers as an undergraduate when she worked as a systems operator on an IBM system/36 mainframe computer. She received her undergraduate degree in 1989 from the University of Missouri, Columbia, where she graduated magna cum laude. She then went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she attained an M.A. in French in 1992. After graduate school Suzanne supported the Windows 95 operating system for Microsoft and decided to pursue computer technology full time.
