Nathan J. VerVelde

Nathan was admitted to the Wisconsin State Bar in 2021 after graduating cum laude from the University of Wisconsin Law School where he was a member of the Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot team.

He assists clients with general business and international trade matters including export controls, economic sanctions, and inbound/outbound foreign investment. He is passionate about understanding the challenges and opportunities facing a client’s industry or company before providing strategic, practical counsel tailored to his clients’ objectives.  Nathan’s comprehensive approach and keen attention to detail makes him a trusted adviser clients can turn to for guidance on navigating the most challenging issues facing their business.

While in law school, Nathan was a summer Law Clerk for SECURA Insurance and Schneider National where he gained experience assisting their legal teams and business unit leaders in proactively addressing a wide variety of legal issues. 

In his free time, Nathan is an avid outdoorsman, actively follows global market developments, traveling, and enjoys caring for his pet sheep.
