James is a partner practicing with DeWitt’s Family Law practice group in its Minneapolis office. He has experience with a wide variety of family-law cases, including the dissolution of complex marital estates, closely-held business valuation disputes, spousal maintenance litigation, jurisdictional issues, contested custody disputes, and domestic abuse cases. James has successfully tried and argued cases in Minnesota's district and appellate courts. He is skilled in litigation and alternative dispute resolution, and enjoys a high rate of success in both.
