Suzanne Arbet serves as the Information Technology Department Manager where she has experience administering Windows, UNIX, Linux, and Novell server systems. Her specialties include server management, IT project planning, hardware/software research and development and system purchasing, setup and maintenance. She is a participant in the information services group of Lexwork International, an association of mid-sized independent law firms.
In 2007, she was the award winner in the IT Specialist category for the statewide award, “Unsung Heroes,” established by the Wisconsin Law Journal.
Suzanne first joined DeWitt Ross & Stevens in 1998 as a member of the information technology staff. She got her start working in computers during summers as an undergraduate when she worked as a systems operator on an IBM system/36 mainframe computer. She received her undergraduate degree in 1989 from the University of Missouri, Columbia, where she graduated magna cum laude. She then went to the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she attained an M.A. in French in 1992. After graduate school Suzanne supported the Windows 95 operating system for Microsoft and decided to pursue computer technology full time.
