DeWitt Strengthens Leadership Team with Two Key Appointments
DeWitt LLP today announced two significant leadership appointments that underscore the firm's continued growth and long-term commitment to developing exceptional talent. Attorney Jordan Rohlfing has been named managing partner of the firm's Madison office, while Attorney Kathryn (Katie) Blom was promoted to Managing Partner of its Green Bay office.
Rohlfing succeeds Michele Perreault as managing partner of DeWitt's Madison office. Perreault will continue her legal practice with the firm after serving in the leadership role for the past 5 years. A partner in DeWitt's Madison office, Rohlfing began her legal career with the firm as a summer associate and joined as an Associate after graduating from law school in 2014. She is a member of DeWitt's Labor & Employment Relations, Litigation, and Background Screening practice groups.
Rohlfing advises employers on workforce management, employment agreements, restrictive covenants, disability accommodations, wage and hour compliance, and other workplace issues. She regularly assists background screening companies with Fair Credit Reporting Act compliance. She also litigates employment matters before administrative agencies and federal courts nationwide, represents background screening companies in litigation, and handles a broad range of other civil litigation matters.
Rohlfing earned her Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of Wisconsin Law School and both her Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degrees, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Loyola University Chicago.
Blom brings more than 20 years of legal experience to DeWitt and serves as managing partner of the firm’s Green Bay office. She succeeds Terry Gerbers, who led the office since 2021 and will continue his practice at DeWitt. Blom focuses her practice on complex business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), commercial real estate, succession planning, and corporate governance.
In her M&A practice, Blom represents both buyers and sellers through every stage of the transaction process, including letters of intent, confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, due diligence, stock and asset purchase agreements, purchase price allocations, and indemnification structures. She also advises clients on family dynamics involved in business transitions.
Before joining DeWitt, Blom was a partner at an Appleton-based law firm where she concentrated on business and corporate law. She earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School and her Bachelor of Arts, with honors, from St. Norbert College. Blom has also been named to the Wisconsin Law Journal Mergers and Acquisitions Powerlist.
"DeWitt has always believed that great firms are built by investing in great people," said Timothy Stewart, DeWitt's President and Managing Partner. "Jordan and Katie are exceptional attorneys and proven leaders who embody our commitment to client service, collaboration, and excellence. Their appointments also reflect our commitment to advancing talented women into leadership as we continue to grow."
The appointments come as DeWitt continues to expand its presence across Wisconsin and the Midwest, reflecting strong business performance and a strategic focus on building leaders internally while attracting accomplished attorneys who strengthen the firm’s capabilities.
