Former Congresspersons Suggest ESOP's as Solution for Social Security Crisis

When they were in the U.S. Congress, Ron Kind (WI) and Erik Paulsen were strong supporters of employee ownership, and ESOPs in particular. By the way, Kind was a Democrat and Paulsen was a Republican. Both Kind and Paulsen are no longer U.S. representatives, but their support of ESOPs has not waned. In a recent article from The Hill, the Kind and Paulsen suggest that encouraging more ESOPs will result in more retirement savings for more Americans. The article points to data from an Ernst & Young study for that notion.
