As a paralegal of the Family Law practice group, Deborah assists in many aspects of a case which routinely involve drafting of necessary documents, meeting directly with clients, attending meetings with opposing counsel, monitoring the status of deadlines and working closely with attorneys to prepare and meet those deadlines, along with working with clients to respond to discovery obligations. Deborah enjoys working closely with clients as she supports them through the legal process with her natural ability to provide comfort and assurance. She is meticulous in her work, understands the immediacy of events and takes initiative to think ahead.
Deborah began at DeWitt as a legal assistant in 1995. In her tenure with DeWitt, she has worked in many areas of law, some of which include civil litigation, environmental, insurance and estate planning. She also has experience preparing for and participating in trials with timelines ranging from a few weeks to nearly two months.
