The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three to five years of experience practicing primarily in estate planning, probate, trust administration and taxation, and have significant experience working directly with clients. Entry-Level Associate Attorney – Mergers and Acquisitions | Business | Real Estate

We are seeking an entry level associate attorney to work with our business and transactional practice group in our downtown Madison office to support our growing client base. The ideal candidate will have an interest in mergers and acquisitions, general business law and real estate. Green Bay Office Coordinator:

DeWitt LLP has an excellent opportunity for a dependable, Office Coordinator to join our team at our Green Bay, WI location.

The Office Coordinator position is detail-oriented, professional, outgoing, and friendly, whose primary purpose is to provide clerical support to all employees while maintaining confidentiality. The employee must work positively and respectfully with co-workers and clients. Professionalism, communication, courtesy, and respect are the foundations of DeWitt’s work environment and culture.

The position is responsible for the following tasks: Answer Phones, Greet Clients, Schedule Appointments, Open New Files and Conduct Conflict Checks, Client Engagement Letters and Notifications, Client Account Inquiries and Credit Card Payments, Locate Files and Documents as Requested, Scan, Edit, Print & Copy Documents as Requested, Assist with Estate Planning Signings, Setup Conference Rooms for Meetings, Maintain Conference Room Appearance, Assist with Office Supply Orders on as Needed, Miscellaneous Tech Support and Office Equipment Maintenance, Order Food for Luncheons, Process Outbound Mail, and Other Duties as Assigned.

Prior law firm experience is preferred, but not required. High School Diploma or equivalent required.  This is a full-time position.

Job Type: Full-time: Monday-Thursday 8:00a-5:00p with one-hour unpaid lunch break and Friday 7:00a-3:00p with 30-minute unpaid lunch break

Madison Litigation Paralegal:

DeWitt LLP seeks a full-time litigation paralegal with at least three years of recent law firm experience for its Madison, WI location. Experience with electronic discovery and case management software such as Relativity preferred.  Must be a team player, detail-oriented, hard worker, have strong communication skills, savvy technical skills, professionalism, and able to manage workflow from multiple attorneys. 

Responsibilities 

  • Assist with court filings, deposition and trial preparation, and discovery.
  • Review, organize and maintain large complex litigation files.
  • Conduct research
  • Oversee e-discovery process and manage document collection, reviews and production
  • Assist with factual development and analysis of cases including organizing documents, summarizing information and preparing reports

Qualifications:  

Prior law firm experience working with large case litigation required; certification or associate’s degree from a paralegal program (bachelor’s degree preferred); experience working with Relativity or other e-discovery software data base applications; proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook is advantageous; excellent interpersonal and communication skills both oral and written; ability to work independently as well as part of a team; time management and ability to multi-task and to handle a large volume of work.

Parental Leave Policy – Associates

  • The firm provides up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for the birth of a child and to care for and bond with an associate’s newborn or adopted child. If the associate gives birth, she is entitled to six weeks leave for childbirth and six weeks leave for other parental leave for a total of 12 weeks. If the associate is not the parent giving birth, the associate is provided six weeks of paid parental leave.
