Brookfield or Madison - ERISA Attorney

Duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Work on new ESOP transactions (creation of new plan document, summary plan description).
  • Prepare, review and revise plan documents and summary plan descriptions for qualified plans.
  • Research and respond to client inquiries related to ERISA, COBRA, ACA, Section 125, and other employee benefit plan-related topics.
  • Drafting of nonqualified deferred comp plans such as stock appreciation rights and phantom stock plans.

DeWitt LLP seeks a full-time Intellectual Property Billing Assistant for its Brookfield, Wisconsin location. A DeWitt employee must be a team player, detail-oriented, have a proven work ethic, and have a proven work ethic, and have excellent communication skills. Responsibilities:  

  • Opening new client files in the firm’s billing system and creating folder labels 
  • Scan mail and distribute to appropriate department attorneys 
  • Submit and follow up on wire and check requests 
  • Submit expense reimbursement requests for department attorneys

Parental Leave Policy – Associates

  • The firm provides up to 12 weeks of paid parental leave for the birth of a child and to care for and bond with an associate’s newborn or adopted child. If the associate gives birth, she is entitled to six weeks leave for childbirth and six weeks leave for other parental leave for a total of 12 weeks. If the associate is not the parent giving birth, the associate is provided six weeks of paid parental leave.
