Alexa is an associate in the Minneapolis office supporting the Business and Litigation practice groups. She is well versed in securities law and preparing and filing critical documents such as 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, S-1, and proxy materials. Her attention to detail ensures compliance with regulatory requirements. Alexa's proficiency in securities research allows her to tackle complex topics and provide valuable insights to support her clients' needs. Her experience also includes conducting due diligence for initial public offerings (IPOs) and private placements.

As a legal intern, Alexa showcased her knowledge of emerging technologies by exploring the world of legal application programming interfaces (APIs). Her research and analysis of legal APIs contributed to the creation of published articles and white papers, highlighting her dedication to developments in the legal field.

During her time as a law clerk, Alexa honed her litigation and transactional skills. She conducted comprehensive research on franchise litigation, finance, and other transactional matters, providing critical support to attorneys and clients. Alexa's proficiency in legal writing and research allowed her to draft persuasive litigation documents and memos that were submitted to courts and clients, demonstrating her ability to analyze complex legal issues and present them effectively.

Before becoming an attorney, Alexa worked in finance, providing business and financial advice to franchises and small businesses. Outside of the office, Alexa runs a small business providing editing and proofreading services to authors and magazines. Both her background in finance and her own experience as a small business owner gives her the unique ability to understand the needs of clients at a deeper level to provide the highest quality legal services.
