Jorgen is an associate attorney in DeWitt’s Business, Real Estate, and Litigation practice groups. Her practice focuses on providing individuals and businesses of all sizes with effective solutions to their legal needs. She assists clients in achieving their business goals through entity formation and reorganization, contract drafting and reviewing, drafting operating agreements/bylaws and other organizational documents, owner agreements, buy-sell agreements, and general corporate matters. Additionally, she handles a broad range of residential and commercial real estate matters and helps clients navigate legal disputes in the real property and business litigation arenas.
Jorgen earned her joint Juris Doctor and Master of Business Administration from the University of Minnesota Law School and Carlson School of Management. During Law School, Jorgen was a Managing Editor for the Minnesota Law Review. She also served as a Student Attorney at the University of Minnesota Business Law Clinic where she assisted local entrepreneurs with entity formation, operating agreements, and various contracts relating to their businesses. During her time in Business School, Jorgen acted as a Student Consultant at the Carlson Consulting Enterprise, a professionally run consultancy that assists clients in identifying, analyzing, and implementing opportunities for business process improvement and strategic change.
Prior to joining the firm as an associate, Jorgen worked as a law clerk for two Fortune 500 agriculture companies in the Twin Cities and as a law clerk at DeWitt. Her combined educational and practical experience allows Jorgen to effectively provide business-focused solutions for her clients.

This enables her to more thoughtfully anticipate and plan for potential legal issues and build creative solutions to support long-term client growth and goal achievement.
